Staying in a private room right on the beach powerful waves so lekka "nice" to go for a swim after a ride Pizza for dinner yum!

Hope.your in heaven mate! This is a memorial to a famous SA cyclist recently killed on the road by a taxi driver,  he would have had a strong heart!

The Boys

One of my posts didnt go through ,so here we go again, the thoughts I was having were about one of Jesus's parables describing the harvest of souls and comparing people with wheat and tares or weeds how they all grow together until the harvest then they are separated one  kept and one burned- it is amazing to come across so many people all on a path . So rhe end of this day it rained and the fog came in I was supposed to get another 5km down the road ,instead I asked this guy Matt if I could put a tent up in his yard ,he was so cool about it and welcoming ! It was really cool to meet you guys thanks heaps for giving me a place to stay and some of your brie , cheers man!

Nice to see the sea

6am start, mainly down hill to the coast a bit of fog early on some good ground covered early,a couple of big gatherings on the way look like funerals looked pretty - as they sat in SA "HECTIC" anyway pressure is off today apart from a bit of a head wind should get to destination early -Oh oh , oh yer!

4th puncture

Had 200km to cycle , punctured just out of East London , a bit of glass and pulled out a bit of truck tyre reinforcing , back on the road with the wind behind me, epic day managed to break the speed record of mine got the speedo up and over 80kmph then then magnet for the speedometer twisted out of place so i lost my screen , had to reset the garmin and off again , reset the magnet too- it wont happen again DIY is always good .Got to Dutywa and these guys whole recognised me from earlier in the day on the road came up and introduced themselves to me - this has happened a few times its amazing how much people notice you mind you havent seen too many cycle tourists yet , the Mamas who i bought the corn off warned me about some of the school kids and their light fingers - thanks for the advise!

Pitstop

On the way to Mthatha got hungry so bought some corn cooked on the fire and a cup of fizz ,
