I just rode 107.2 kilometers! Check it out on #strava: http://app.strava.com/activities/41398275 . Another perfect day for cycling , was just doing the kms when I pulled into a tuck shop on the side of the road to grab a drink and some water when a man named Campbell Ross came and introduced himself to me , so cool how people do that here reminds me of NZ and OZ anyway Campbell was a tour guide for Southern Africa and gave me the lowdown or where to go - Awesome Thanks Campbell ! Also across the road was a rather large truck in fact the worlds largest cn road truck as seen on discovery channel , all the drivers were super cool and interested in my trip ASwell apparently each of the load bearing trailors had 164 wheels there were 2 of these then not to mention all the wheels on the trucks in the middle was a massive transformer weighing I think 257 tonnes going up the road fir a new coal power station .So we all took some photos and I headed off just in front , one of the drivers give me a big HONK with the trucks horn . I managed to keep ahead of them on the road- they travel at about 20kmph. Also to my right came a super long train, as it was passing I thought oh year, then it kept going and going and then I looked back and still couldnt see the end , full of coal heading to China apparently - I think there is a bit of coal around here !
To the left to the left??? What about then to the RIGHT??? That whole area is mining country! The funny thing is SA needs the coal even more than China and yet we export!!! Funny how the name ROSS keeps crossing your path!!! ha ha ha. Awesome photo of the truck! How those legs of yours holding up? I will video chat to you later - xx Belinda Jane Ross
