One week in Addis

What a crazy Week that one was !First of all Turning up on an overcast day during rush hour with all the polution then Someone getting shot with a handgun in the nightclub below the restaurant in the same hotel Where I was staying apparently the gunman got beaten Up and had to go to the hospital too~I thought it was some partypoppers going off untill I saw a couple ot guys on the floor. Anyway That was saturday night then Sunday waiting for Monday for the Sudanese embassy to open to find that they would only give me a transit visa and that I would have to go to the Egyptian embassy first to get a visa from them Which after a taxi ride there I found out they closed at 12 or1 anyway they were closed and I would have to Come back the next day then wait 3 days to get One of their visas meanwhile I couldn't seem to get any money out from any ATMs all over down firstly to pay for the taxi and secondly to buy some US dollars ,I think I managed to get enough to buy $100 US which when I presented the Money They asked in an abrupt way "Where did you get this from?" I now had to prove where I got this money from when the Atm had given me no receipt I Couldn't believe it so then I had to see the manager and explain to him where I had got this money sheesh you would hsve thought I had robbedca bank and taken All of their money like it was some huge amount  Anyway I got the money which was just enough to get a Sudanese visa
